60-minute in-home evaluation that includes background questions, clinical observations, standardized tests when needed, and a treatment plan. After the session, you can view your child’s full report and start home activities. One parent/guardian must stay for the entire appointment.

Initial Occupational Therapy Evaluation

In-home session focused on the previously discussed goals. This approach is an excellent way to reinforce and expand skills within a natural, comfortable environment.

60-minute session in a community-based setting. Gives your child the chance to practice skills in real-world locations like the grocery store, neighborhood park, shopping mall, and other everyday places.

Community Visit

30-minute in-home, virtual, or phone session to review goals, help with home programs, create a visual schedule for your child, find needed products, and more. Time is spent outside regular treatment and the child doesn’t need to be present. Use this when you expect to spend over 10 minutes on these topics.

FAQs

  • At the first evaluation I will ask about your child’s medical, therapy, and social history, then discuss your concerns and goals. I will observe and test your child using activities and toys to get a full clinical picture. Together we will make a care plan. Please have a few of your child’s favorite toys available. One parent/guardian must stay for the entire session.

I don’t work with insurance companies, so I can give you the personalized care you deserve instead of following insurance boundaries. I am happy to provide a Superbill for you to submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement!
